Meet Our Founders
Dr. Edward Agbai
Edward Agbai is the Executive Director of the Prairies-Africa Partnership (PAP). He has over 20 years of combined experience leading and managing operations and change management projects in the public and private sectors.
As an accomplished management professional, he is results-oriented with strong leadership, engineering, research, project management, communication, resource management, and conflict resolution skills allowing for the development and maintenance of professional relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) at Prairies-Africa Partnership, Emmanuel University, and Crestwood Consulting Corporation.
He is the Deputy Director of Alumni Relations, at Emmanuel University, Raleigh, NC, USA, and Senior Partner, at Crestwood Consulting Corporation, Saskatoon, SK, Canada.
Michael Afenfia
Multiple nominee of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA)-Chinua Achebe Prize for Literature, Michael Afenfia, is a Nigerian-Canadian storyteller and multi-genre writer based in Saskatoon, Canada. His first novel When the Moon Caught Fire was published in 2010. Since then, he has gone on to write six more books including the highly successful novels The Mechanics of Yenagoa and Rain Can Never Know. In 2023, his critically acclaimed novel about identity and immigration Leave my Bones in Saskatoon was shortlisted for the Glengarry Book Award Prize.
Michael Afenfia is known for his unique style of storytelling that features suspense and humor, and the infusion of Pidgin-English which he says is his way of weaving, integrating and promoting his cultural identity through his craft.
When he is not writing, Michael spends his time mentoring young creatives. At other times he can be found watching television, listening to music or reading.

Victor Osadebamwen Amadin
Executive Leader | Policy Strategist | Community Engagement Specialist
Victor Amadin is a results-oriented executive and strategic community leader with over a decade of experience driving positive change through policy development, stakeholder engagement, and cross-sector partnerships. With a robust academic background—holding a Master’s in International Relations and Strategic Studies, a Bachelor’s in Political Science, and a Diploma in Business Administration—Victor brings both analytical depth and a practical understanding of community systems to every role he undertakes.
Currently serving as a Financial Advisor at RBC, and formerly as a Newcomer Specialist and Brand Ambassador, Victor has led high-impact initiatives focused on financial inclusion, social equity, and newcomer integration. His leadership has resulted in sustainable collaborations with institutions such as the City of Warman, the Canada Revenue Agency, and Great Plains College—reaching over 1,100 newcomers annually and strengthening regional service frameworks.
Titus Osita Chukwuanukwu
Pharm. Tech, MBBS, PhD, FWACS, FICS
Professor Titus Osita Chukwuanukwu is an accomplished healthcare professional, academic leader, and surgeon with over 28 years of experience spanning clinical practice, medical education, research, healthcare administration, advocacy, and volunteer service. His career reflects a deep commitment to excellence in patient care, surgical training, and the institutional development of medical education in Nigeria and beyond.
Prof. Chukwuanukwu currently serves as Provost of the College of Medicine at Veritas University, Abuja, where he led the establishment and administrative development of the College, overseeing academic planning, faculty coordination, and regulatory alignment. His leadership has contributed significantly to strengthening medical education infrastructure and governance within the university.
